This international network allows the academy to continually evolve and provide athletes with modern, globally informed training experiences.
With an athlete-centred approach and a commitment to continuous improvement, Resonance Volleyball Academy aims to inspire confidence, commitment, and a lifelong love for volleyball while contributing to the growth of the sport in Australia.

Resonance Volleyball Academy was created with a clear purpose: to provide structured, high-quality volleyball development while building a strong, positive, and inclusive sporting community.
Resonance Volleyball Academy was founded by Felipe da Costa Stahelin, a former professional volleyball player and experienced coach with an extensive background in high-performance volleyball both in Brazil and internationally. Drawing from his professional playing career and coaching experience, Felipe established Resonance to bring professional standards, modern training methods, and international experience to athlete development in Australia.
Felipe da Costa Stahelin is the Head Coach of Resonance Volleyball Academy and brings over 20 years of experience in high-performance volleyball as both a professional athlete and coach.
Originally from Brazil, Felipe built a successful professional playing career as a setter, competing at elite levels in Brazil and internationally in Qatar. Throughout his career, he achieved multiple podium finishes in national leagues, university competitions, and state championships, including recognition as the 4th Best Setter in the Qatar National League.
After transitioning from athlete to coach, Felipe dedicated himself to developing players at all levels—from juniors to adults—focusing on technical excellence, tactical understanding, and long-term athlete development. He has led competitive programs in both Brazil and Australia, combining international experience with a modern, athlete-centred coaching approach. Felipe holds a Level 3 Coaching Accreditation, highlighting his expertise and professional qualification in volleyball coaching.
Felipe also holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Teaching Degree in Physical Education, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship. His coaching philosophy is built on discipline, respect, continuous improvement, and creating a positive environment where athletes can reach their full potential both on and off the court.
